Simplock is a subscription software service that gives you a dedicated Discord bot running under your own name and avatar, with a dashboard that manages its systems. In this document, we and the provider mean Simplock; you and the customer mean the holder of the subscribing account; the instance means the bot and database running for your account alone; and your members means the users of the Discord server where you run the instance.
Creating an account, paying, or using the service means you accept these terms together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Exchange Policy. The three are read together as one agreement. If you do not accept a clause in them, do not use the service.
If you subscribe on behalf of a company or a team, you confirm you are authorized to bind them to these terms.
You must be eighteen or older, or have a responsible guardian contract on your behalf. Use of Discord itself is subject to the minimum age Discord enforces in your country, which is at least thirteen.
You are responsible for everything done from your account and for protecting your sign-in methods: the linked Discord or Google account, passkeys, the emergency code, and two-step verification. Whoever holds those holds control of your instance.
Team members you grant dashboard permissions to act in your name, and their actions count as yours.
The information you give us must be accurate. An account opened with misleading information, or to get around an earlier suspension, is closed.
You get a separate bot instance with its own database and storage, a dashboard, technical support, and continuous updates, for the whole period you paid for.
The bot's identity, meaning its name, avatar, banner, description, and status, is yours to choose and stays yours for as long as your subscription runs, within what Discord permits and within the name-change limits stated in the dashboard.
The service is delivered over the internet. We do not hand you a copy of the software or its source, so the subscription is a right to use, not the sale of a product.
Subscriptions are prepaid for a period you choose. There is no auto-renewal that takes money without your knowledge: the service runs to the end of the paid period and then stops unless you renew it yourself.
When you renew or move to another plan, the new period stacks on top of whatever time remains, so no day you paid for is lost.
The price shown at the moment of payment is the one that applies, and no later price change is applied retroactively to a period you already paid for.
For crypto payments, the amount due is the amount stated on the order when it was created, and network fees and exchange differences are on the sender. Sending to an address or network other than the ones on the order may mean the funds are lost permanently, beyond our ability to recover them.
Any local taxes or duties your country imposes on your purchase are your responsibility.
Every customer's first subscription is covered by a full refund guarantee within 5 days of payment. Its details and exclusions are in the Refund and Exchange Policy, which forms part of this agreement.
Because payment is made in crypto or by direct transfer, there is no bank dispute and no forced third-party reversal. The only refund channel is the request on your account page or a message to support. Attempting to collect the same amount twice is abuse and stops the service.
Simplock does not run on its own. It rests on the Discord platform first, and on hosting and network providers, payment processors, AI compute providers, audio and media sources, and certificate and anti-abuse services.
A fault, outage, or slowdown at any of them shows up in your service even when our own systems are perfectly healthy. That is outside our control, and we are not liable for damages arising from it.
A third party may change its terms, prices, or interfaces, and may shut down a service we relied on. When that happens a feature may stop, change how it works, or be removed permanently, with no failure on our side.
What we commit to in return: we monitor faults and restore service as fast as we can, and we look for a replacement for a discontinued dependency where one exists. And if the service is fully and continuously unavailable for an extended period through no fault of yours, we extend your subscription by the length of the outage.
Your use of the bot inside Discord remains subject to Discord's terms and policies, which override any promise made here. If Discord restricts your account, your server, or the application itself, that is Discord's decision and not ours.
Discord caps how large the servers an application serves may be. As your server approaches 10000 members, some of the bot's capabilities become conditional on an official Discord approval of the application. That approval is Discord's to grant, and neither we nor you can guarantee that it will be granted or when.
If that approval is not granted, or is delayed, the systems that depend on it stop: welcome and farewell messages, automatic roles on join, invite tracking, auto-replies, the counting system, AI conversation, and everything that reads message text or follows members joining and leaving.
What keeps working: commands, buttons, menus and forms, tickets, role panels, the protection systems, voice and music, economy and games, and scheduled messages.
We notify you as your server approaches this limit, and we file and follow up the request ourselves. But the outcome is Discord's decision, and these features stopping for that reason is not a breach of this agreement by us and does not entitle you to a refund. You remain free to stop renewing at any time.
You are the one deciding in your server: you enable the systems, you set what is recorded and stored, you write the replies and messages, and you grant the permissions. We provide the tool, you decide how it is used.
For your members' data you are the controller, and we process it on your behalf and on your instructions. It is on you to tell your members what the bot collects, to comply with the data protection laws that apply to you and to them, and to answer their access and deletion requests. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Content you upload or write in the dashboard is your responsibility: images, files, text, and links. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and transmit it in order to run the service, and nothing beyond that.
You undertake not to make the bot an instrument for breaking the law or Discord's terms, and you carry what follows from doing so.
Not allowed: illegal content, any sexual content involving minors in any form, attacking other servers or accounts through flooding, spam, or impersonation, evading a ban or suspension, and harvesting member data to sell or leak it.
Also not allowed: attempting to extract, decompile, or reverse engineer the source, penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without our written permission, exploiting a flaw in the currency, shop, or payment systems instead of reporting it, reselling, renting, or sharing your instance with a third party, and presenting the service as your own product or imitating our brand.
Resources are shared, so unfair use is not allowed: excessive automated requests against the dashboard or interfaces, running workloads unrelated to managing your server, and consuming AI or media quotas in a way that degrades the service for others. We apply fair technical limits, and we warn you before restricting unless the harm is immediate.
Reporting a vulnerability you find in good faith is welcome and we will not pursue you for it, provided you neither exploit nor publish it before it is fixed.
A violation is met with a warning, a restriction, or immediate suspension without refund, according to its severity and repetition.
The AI systems run on models we operate. They need no key and no provider account from you.
Model output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate or unsuitable, and must not be relied on as legal, medical, or financial advice. The decisions in your server stay yours, and reviewing what the bot posts is your responsibility.
Enabling these systems means the text of the messages the bot processes, and the media attached to them, are processed for that purpose, and that we may use what is needed from them to develop our models and their dictionaries. The detail is in the Privacy Policy, and the control is yours: you can disable them fully or partially from the dashboard.
Usage quotas may be limited to keep the service stable, and the models in use, their names, and their limits may change at any time.
Every helper bot comes from our own applications, so you never enter a token and we never ask for one. A helper bot is licensed to you along with your subscription and returns to us when the subscription ends. Ownership does not pass to you.
The number of helper bots is limited by your plan and by Discord's technical constraints, among them that each bot can occupy only one voice channel per server at a time.
The software, design, interface, documentation, name, and logo are ours, and the subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them, which ends when the subscription ends.
Your content stays yours: your settings, your text, your images, and your server's data.
Suggestions you send us may be implemented without compensation and without creating any right for you in the product.
We make a genuine effort to keep your instance running around the clock: continuous monitoring, automatic restarts, and updates that usually roll out without stopping the service. Even so, we do not guarantee one hundred percent availability and we offer no service level agreement.
We may run scheduled or emergency maintenance. We try to keep it short and in low-usage hours, and we announce the scheduled kind in advance.
We take periodic backups for operational and recovery purposes, and they are not a substitute for your own. The dashboard's backup tool is available to you, and taking a copy before any large change is advisable. We do not guarantee recovery of data lost through your own action, a team member's action, or a deletion you carried out.
We add features, adjust others, and improve others continuously. Your subscription is to the service as a whole, not to one particular feature or one particular interface layout.
We may remove or replace a feature if it becomes unsafe or unmaintainable, if the third party it rested on disappears, or if its use is negligible. If the removal is material and affects the reason you subscribed, we announce it a reasonable time before it takes effect, and you may end your subscription and be refunded the unused portion.
Experimental features are labelled as such, may change or disappear without notice, and are not part of our commitments.
When the paid period ends without renewal, a grace period of 3 days begins during which your instance keeps running. After that the instance is paused and the service stops, while your data stays for a further 60 days, during which you can renew and get everything back exactly as you left it.
Once that window passes, the instance, its database, and its files are deleted permanently and irreversibly.
We may suspend immediately in the case of a serious violation, or use that threatens the service, other customers, or exposes us to legal liability, and we tell you the reason.
You may end your subscription at any time from your account, and any resulting refund is governed by the Refund and Exchange Policy.
We may discontinue the service entirely for any reason with at least thirty days' notice, refunding the unused portion and leaving enough time to take your backups.
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, with no express or implied warranty that it will be free of errors or interruption, or that it will produce any particular result in your server's growth or discipline.
We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, reputational harm, or data loss arising from causes outside our control.
In every case, our total aggregate liability to you does not exceed what you actually paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event.
Nothing in this clause is meant to exclude liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, such as fraud or gross negligence.
You undertake to defend and indemnify us against any claim brought against us arising from your use of the service, your server's content, your breach of these terms, or your failure in your own data protection duties toward your members.
Neither party is answerable for a delay or failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control: war or civil unrest, natural disaster, widespread power or internet outage, large-scale cyberattack, a government order or block, or the failure of a material third party. If the impediment lasts more than thirty consecutive days, either party may end the agreement and the unused portion is refunded to you.
Changes: we may update these terms. Any material change is published here with an updated date and notified to you in the dashboard before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after it takes effect is acceptance. If you do not accept it, you may terminate and be refunded the unused portion.
Assignment: you may not transfer your account or your rights to another party without our written consent. We may transfer this agreement in a merger or sale of the business, with your rights unchanged.
No waiver: not enforcing a clause once does not forfeit our right to enforce it later.
Severability: if one clause is invalid, the rest stay in force.
Entire agreement: this document together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Exchange Policy is the entire agreement between us, and supersedes any earlier verbal promise or correspondence.
Governing law and disputes: we seek to settle any disagreement amicably within thirty days of a written notice. Whatever is not settled amicably is governed by the laws of the country where the provider is established and by its competent courts.
Language: this document is published in Arabic and in English, and the two versions carry the same meaning. Where an interpretation differs, the English version governs.
Contact: support is reached from your account page, and our formal notices reach you in the dashboard and on your account, and are considered received once posted.
The other party to these terms is an individual who runs Simplock, not a registered company. Unless a company name appears in this document, there is no company.
